The event is hosted by the orange beach lions club and all of the proceeds go toward college scholarships and community service in orange beach. By adopting duckies you re helping to advance the independence productivity and empowermen. A winning duck could receive 1000 or one of many other great prizes. 8 000 rubber ducks will race down the mighty chena river from the wendell street bridge to the finish line at the cushman street bridge. We awarded over 400 hundred prizes this year to duck race winners. Funds raised by the loveland rotary club duck race will be used to provide covid 19 relief promote literacy and provide high school scholarships in the thompson school district.
